Pokémon Go was the undisputed king of gaming over the summer when millions were turned out by its augmented reality pocket monster goodness. Numbers started to dip as we went into autumn as inherent problems in the game were ignored by Niantic. Recently, however, followingHalloween and Thanksgiving events and a number of other initiatives the number of people playing Pokémon Go has been slowly rising again.

They won’t be the first new Pokémon

Recently the game received its first new Pokémon when the shape shiftingDitto was added to the Pokémon Go. Today’s announcement means it won’t be long for Ditto is joined by a whole host of new Pokémon. Hopefully we’ll be looking at the full gen 2 roster but we’ll have to wait until December 12thbefore we’ll know for sure
